**Turkmenistan Airlines Launches First Direct Flight Between Ashgabat and Seoul**

Turkmenistan's national carrier, **Turkmenistan Airlines**, has successfully operated its first direct flight from **Ashgabat** to **Seoul**, the capital of the Republic of Korea.

The inaugural flight departed from **Ashgabat International Airport** on Monday, according to official Turkmen media.

The new route covers a distance of **5,842 kilometers**, with an average flight time of approximately **7 hours and 30 minutes**. The first flight carried **365 passengers** on board.

Flights on the **Ashgabat–Seoul–Ashgabat** route will operate **once a week, every Monday**.

According to representatives of Turkmenistan Airlines, the new direct service will make travel more convenient for **students, business travelers, and tourists**. It will also expand the airline's international route network and strengthen air connectivity between **Turkmenistan** and the **Republic of Korea**.
