Program
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Bishkek
Airport meet & greet, hotel check-in and rest. Discover Bishkek with a city tour, jewelry presentation and colorful Osh Bazaar.
Day 2 – Bishkek → Chon-Kemin
Travel to Chon-Kemin with a traditional food stop en route. Check in at Alakush Yurt Village, enjoy horseback riding in Chon-Kemin National Park and experience your first taste of Kyrgyz nomadic life.
Day 3 – Chon-Kemin → Son-Kol Lake
Journey through mountain landscapes towards high-altitude Son-Kol Lake, stopping at Orto-Tokoy Reservoir. Stay in a traditional yurt at over 3,000 meters and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Day 4 – Son-Kol → Kyzyl-Tuu / Bokonbaevo
Travel towards the southern shore of Issyk-Kul with scenic stops, a waterfall visit and a traditional golden eagle demonstration. In Kyzyl-Tuu, discover Kyrgyz yurt-making, chiy weaving and felt carpet traditions.
Day 5 – Bokonbaevo → Jeti-Oguz → Barskoon → Karakol
Continue towards Karakol via the dramatic Jeti-Oguz Gorge and Barskoon Gorge. Experience traditional food culture before exploring Karakol, including the Dungan Mosque and Przhevalsky Museum.
Day 6 – Altyn-Arashan Adventure
Travel by special mountain vehicle into Altyn-Arashan Gorge, famous for alpine landscapes, forests and natural hot springs. Enjoy walks, optional horseback riding and mountain scenery before returning to Karakol.
Day 7 – Karakol → Cholpon-Ata
Travel along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul, visiting Semenovskoye and Grigorievskoye gorges and the Kyrchyn highland pasture. Arrive in Cholpon-Ata for an evening by the lake.
Day 8 – Cholpon-Ata → Bishkek
Return to Bishkek through the Chuy Valley with a visit to the historic Burana Tower and its surrounding archaeological site. Hotel check-in and free evening.
Day 9 – Departure from Bishkek
Breakfast depending on flight time and transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
